First and foremost, you must understand that you write posts to serve your customers--- your readers. Therefore, you must be able to satisfy their informational needs.

That market confidence will also allow you to name the price for your goods/ services. It wouldn't be that hard to convince your potential customers that they are getting their money's worth.
Your content must also be well optimized that search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) will be able to identify your value in the blogosphere. The way you use keywords and your ability to determine whether there is a substantial market that search for those keywords are also paramount.
In terms of social media, your hard work will be paid off when followers and non-followers share your post (such as in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) You get to electronically crawl in different dimensions and eventually, you'll be at the top of your goals and objectives-- the main reasons why you started it all.
